| Victoria Russell, President of the European Society for Construction Law, has offered her support to the NAWIC initiative. She said: "I am delighted that one of NAWIC's main objectives is to raise the profile of professional women in the construction industry. It is vitally important to promote construction as a career opportunity to women; one of the ways this will happen is through another of NAWIC's goals, i.e. achieving equal rates of pay and opportunities for women and men in the construction industry.
