Considerable progress has been made on NAWIC's mentoring scheme, which aims to provide support for women working within construction and ultimately encourage women to remain with the industry throughout their careers. We are currently preparing a proposal for the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) to gain ESF funding, and for several other funding agencies. If you have experience of working on funding proposals, or would like to be involved in the mentoring scheme in an organisational role, we would love to hear from you.
