NAWIC's summer party was a great success, and a big thank you to Lovells solicitors for hosting the event in their new building with its fantastic views over London’s skyline. We were delighted to welcome the new Construction Minister, Nigel Griffiths MP, who made an inspiring speech about the importance of NAWIC to the future development of the construction industry. We were also pleased to welcome representatives of Women and Manual Trades, the DTI and the CITB, along with over 100 members and guests. The party provided a great opportunity to meet and talk with other women involved in a range of construction disciplines, to share experiences and network. The evening raised over £170 for the Royal Marsden Hospital.
