On Wednesday 11 February Ernst & Young hosted a very successful breakfast for NAWIC members and women in the construction industry in their fabulous new headquarters building. 25 women attended from various disciplines. We ate a delicious cooked breakfast and enjoyed the views over the Thames while listening to John McCorquadale and Phillipa Nortrop tell us how they had gone about selecting the location, overseeing the construction and finally moving so many people into the building from many different locations around London. It was absolutely fascinating and generated a lively question and answer session afterwards, enhanced by contributions from the Ernst & Young women who gave their views on how it had worked in practice.
