National Association of Women in Construction

Last year NAWIC UK signed an international affiliation agreement with our sister group in the United States, thus reaching out to other associated groups in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Since then we have been involved with key members and events from the global network of women in construction. Last year Emma Sturges, one of our National Committee Member's attended their Annual Conference in Salt Lake City and found the event both interesting and enlightening.

NAWIC USA are in their 50th Year and to celebrate are holding an anniversary event in Fort Worth, Texas in September 2005. Representing NAWIC Australia will be Maria Bobeldyk, National President, and Carol Brubaker, International Liaison.

NAWIC UK would like to have a delegation at the event, but unfortunately lack the funds to send an ensemble of members.
