The publication Courses and Careers UK (CCUK) (a student magazine that is distributed to all schools and colleges throughout the UK) and the highly successful CCUK Website http://www.courses-careers.com and subscription base for the CCUK E-magazine http://www.courses-careers.com/emags which is e-mailed out to over 30,000 students each month, encourage students into various course and career training routes and it is aimed at school leavers throughout the UK. This Autumn CCUK is launching an Ethnic Minorities publication called CCUK:X-L This will be distributed to all schools, six form colleges and careers advisers throughout the UK. The aim of this publication is to encourage ethnic minorities into course and career training for their future. As well as using positive role models to inspire its readership, the magazine aims to tackle the real issue effecting ethnic minorities in education and career routes today. Emma Salt, editor of the magazine wishes to run a number of profiles of women in the construction industry, at all levels, from different ethnic backgrounds.
