Midlands, 16 June - Royal Ascot Ladies Day Lunch

Royal Ascot Ladies Day Lunch. This ladies day lunch was held on 16 June 2011 and was enjoyed by a table of 17 ladies from the NAWIC Midlands Branch. The lunch was held at the lovely Piccolino resturant in Brindley Place, situated in the centre of Birmingham and was hosted by Suzanne Verdee from BBC Midlands today. The event was held in order to raise money for the Birmingham Crisis Centre, a safe haven for victims of domestic violence. NAWIC ladies amongst other business ladies enjoyed a 2 course Italian lunch and chilled prosecco on the terrace! There was a large screen in order that the lunching ladies could view the highs and lows of the race day. There was also a style and beauty exhibition at the event. As you will see from the photo, the dress code required a hat. There were some fabulous hats worn by some fabulous ladies. A fun event for a good cause, one that the Midlands branch of NAWIC have earmarked to attend and support next year.
