Aviva Stadium

Our final site visit of the Summer 2009 was to the brand new Aviva stadium, known to all who know their rugby as Lansdowne Road, the oldest rugby ground in the world. Once again Sisk hosted us for the site visit which was extremely interesting. We were privileged to have been the first non stakeholder group brought on site. For many of us it is the only opportunity we will ever have to stand in the middle of the pitch or in a corporate box. The steel lovers in particular were fascinated with the construction of this magnificent structure. The visit was oversubscribed yet again. Afterwards Eversheds O'Donnell Sweeney hosted us to drinks and finger food in the D4 hotel and once again a most enjoyable night was had by all.
