Marieke Wijnmaalen - Chair

Marieke is a real estate consultant, specialising in SMART Working, based in Doha, Qatar.
Marieke’s focus for the last 12 years has been large-scale administrative organisations, both in Holland and internationally, with significant experience in designing and realising efficient and supportive work environments and related work methods.

She is currently working as a freelance consultant in the Gulf region.
When not working or engaging with NAWIC, she spends her time with her husband and friends in the desert or at sea or studying for an MBA.

Marieke is relatively new to Doha and to NAWIC, but fortunately she is supported by some others;
Reena Naser, Carolyn Freeman and Gudrun Voggenreiter support her with their networks and knowledge of developments in and around Doha. Together, they’ll continue organising events and form the regional NAWIC network to those who want to network, share information and receive support in a way that was unquestioned and automatic in their previous lives.
