Thank you for taking the time to asnwer this short questionnaire regarding the development of women's roles within the UK Construction Industry. The research aims to identify and classify the progression of women over the past 20 years. This research will form part of my MSc in Surveying with the College of Estate Management.
The questionnaire therefore asks general closed and open questions regarding the nature of your role and the type of business, your incentivies for choosing the type of organisation you would work and the challenged women face working in a male dominated industry. It will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and should be completed by 15 November 2012.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and there are no foreseeable risks associated with it. However, if you fee uncomfortable answering any of the questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for me to learn your options.
Your questionnaire responses will be strictly confidential and data from this reasearch will be reported in the dissertation annonymously.
In the second phase of the study, I would like to conduct follow-up interviews with those who are willing from the group that has filled out this questionnaire. Please e-mail me patricia_lemats@fastmail.fm if you wish to participate in the interviews. Participation in the interview would again be completely voluntary and you may decline answering any quesions you prefer not to answer. Your involvement in this first phase of this study does not obligate you to participate in the second part.
Thank you very much for your time and support. Please state with the questionnaire now by clicking on the following link.
