NAWIC Wellness Club Update

We hope you had a great week in celebration of International Women's Day. There was a lot of support and solidarity across our media channels, highlighting that whether it’s calling out inequality and gender bias, celebrating women’s achievements, or being more considerate about your own thoughts and actions, we can all play our part.

On behalf of NAWIC, we'd like to thank all those who became members of NAWIC Wellness Club and who signed up to our first challenge.

NAWIC Contribution to Construction Manager Landmark Edition

NAWIC are delighted to have contributed to the March 2021 landmark edition of Construction Manager magazine – a special issue guest-edited by three female CIOB members. It is clear that women are ready to challenge gender bias and inequality and celebrate women's achievements.

Click here to view the digital edition and make sure to read an article from our National Chair on page 46 which addresses the challenges of returning to work during lockdown.

NAWIC North East 'First Thursday Catch Up' events are going virtual!

Our first Virtual First Thursday Catch Up will be Thursday 7th May at 5:30pm, where we invite you to join us for our monthly catch up on a video call for a couple of drinks and a chat with some of our committee members. We also ask that you come along armed with one positive thing that’s happened to you over the last 6 weeks despite the current circumstances.
