NAWIC Jersey: The Importance of Competition

Registration is closed for this event
Presented by the Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority, this CPD event will look at the importance of fair competition for Jersey businesses, consumers and the economy.

Competition encourages businesses to improve and innovate, for the benefit of their customers. Competition law makes sure businesses are competing on a level playing field and are protected from others acting unfairly. This session will provide an introduction to competition policy and competition law in Jersey, and why it is important for businesses as well as consumers and the economy.  It will show the types of behaviours to watch out for. It will also explain the role of the JCRA, and where to go for further information.

The presentation will begin at 12.30pm and will be approximately 1 hour with the opportunity for questions to follow. Tickets include a light lunch so please email jersey@nawic.co.uk if you have any queries or dietary requirements.

We are currently awaiting confirmation of the CPD accreditation status of this session and will update all registered attendees in due course.

NAWIC Jersey members are entitled to free access to this event and will receive a discount code to redeem their ticket. Non-members are able to purchase an event ticket for £12.50pp.
