Inclusion is an important consideration for any company. Designing inclusive buildings and environments that work for everyone is now a priority.
Presented by Sarah Gordon of Libra, this CPD event will delve into the topic of neurodiversity from a design aspect.
This seminar looks at why designing for the mind and senses is an essential consideration in the built environment. We look at the definition of neurodiversity and the relevant laws and standards that designers need to consider. We discuss how simple design principles associated with layout, lighting, colour, sound, smell and touch can enhance the built environment and surrounding areas.
The presentation will begin at 12.30pm and will be approximately 1 hour with the opportunity for questions to follow. Tickets include a light lunch so please email jersey@nawic.co.uk if you have any queries or dietary requirements.
We are currently awaiting confirmation of the CPD accreditation status of this session and will update all registered attendees in due course.
