Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting 2022 (Meeting) of the National Association of Women in Construction (the Association) will be held online at 12pm on 3 November 2022.
The Association shall (so far as applicable):
Earlier this month, all eyes were firmly fixed on Glasgow as world leaders came together to negotiate and agree measures to address climate change. Join us to hear Heather Lafferty, Project Manager at Statkraft UK and committee member for NAWIC Scotland, explain her role in creating a renewable future and helping the UK meet its Net Zero targets.

We hope you had a great week in celebration of International Women's Day. There was a lot of support and solidarity across our media channels, highlighting that whether it’s calling out inequality and gender bias, celebrating women’s achievements, or being more considerate about your own thoughts and actions, we can all play our part.
On behalf of NAWIC, we'd like to thank all those who became members of NAWIC Wellness Club and who signed up to our first challenge.
NAWIC are delighted to have contributed to the March 2021 landmark edition of Construction Manager magazine – a special issue guest-edited by three female CIOB members. It is clear that women are ready to challenge gender bias and inequality and celebrate women's achievements.

The Association shall (so far as applicable):
We are all living through an extremely worrying time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many of us will be suffering from ill health, bereavement, separation from families, job uncertainty and financial hardship.
First and foremost we care about everyone’s safety and wellbeing. As such we have decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) Part 2 which was due to be held on Wednesday 25th March 2020. We hope to reschedule the AGM and we will post further updates on this website as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding at this time
